Below is a list of items that you should bring along for a Michigan Day Trip.

• Long underwear poly top

• Heavy shirt

• Heavy fleece pullover

• Quality hooded, rain jacket that's "water-proof" NOT water-resistant ¨ Polarized Sunglasses (amber-colored preferred)

• Sunscreen

• Lip balm

• Camera with extra batteries

• 1 Small "roll-top" waterproof "dry bag" for your camera and a spare change of underclothing and extra fleece on those colder than usual days or an unexpected "dip" in the river. It’s all about layering

• Two pairs of wool fingerless gloves

• Hat with brim or ball cap

• Michigan Fishing License
